About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Technical Project Manager to join our Supply Chain Design team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Scrum and Agile methodologies, technical product management, and have a solid understanding of supply chain processes. The Scrum Master/Development Coordinator will play a pivotal role in coordinating agile sprints, facilitating communication between cross-functional teams, and driving the successful delivery of our products. Responsibilities:
Agile Methodology Coordination: Lead and facilitate the agile development process, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Ensure adherence to Scrum principles and practices while promoting continuous improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster effective communication and collaboration between development teams, product managers, designers, and stakeholders. Act as a bridge to align different teams towards common goals.
Technical Product Management: Work closely with product managers and technical teams to define user stories, prioritize backlog items, and ensure a clear understanding of product requirements. Assist in refining and maintaining the product backlog.
Supply Chain Integration: Leverage supply chain experience to align development efforts with supply chain needs. Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure that products are developed with an understanding of logistics and distribution considerations.
Obstacle Removal: Identify and address potential roadblocks, bottlenecks, and issues that may hinder the progress of the development teams. Proactively find solutions to challenges that arise during sprints.
Metrics and Reporting: Track and report key performance metrics related to sprint progress, team velocity, and product quality. Present this information to stakeholders and utilize it for continuous improvement.
Team Empowerment: Coach and mentor team members on agile principles and practices, fostering a culture of self-organization, accountability, and continuous learning.
Risk Management: Anticipate and manage risks that could impact project timelines or deliverables. Develop mitigation strategies and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement: Drive the adoption of best practices, tools, and techniques related to Agile and Scrum. Collaborate with other Scrum Masters to share knowledge and enhance the overall agile process.
Qualifications:
3+ years of Scrum Master or similar experience: Proven track record of successfully leading and coordinating agile development teams using Scrum methodologies.
1+ year of supply chain experience: Familiarity with supply chain processes and an understanding of how they relate to product development.
Agile Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Agile principles and practices. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification or equivalent is a plus.
Strong Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Proven ability to identify and address obstacles creatively and effectively. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Leadership: Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams. A servant leadership mindset that focuses on enabling team success.
Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of software development concepts and technologies. Familiarity with technical product management practices.
Collaborative Attitude: A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment, fostering open dialogue and knowledge sharing.
