Deepsky is Exotec’s warehouse execution system (WES) software that serves as a connective layer, seamlessly integrating Exotec Skypod® robotics technology with most warehouse management control systems and third-party automation equipment, streamlining customers’ complex warehouse operations and providing an efficient solution to warehouse labor shortages. Designed with adaptability at its core, the software makes use of the OPC UA standard to develop a gateway between different automation tools which significantly reduces the overall system installation and startup time from months or even years to a matter of weeks, effectively lowering a significant barrier to entry and empowering companies to take the next step in modernizing their warehouse operations without incurring lost revenue from a lengthy total overhaul. Universal connectivity - Each warehouse automation technology comes with its own distinct language, which presents challenges when companies inevitably combine solutions. Deepsky acts as a translator between solutions, which grants companies the freedom to choose any automation tools at any time and scale quickly.
Remote monitoring and intervention - Deepsky proactively tracks operations and automatically pushes real-time data to one of Exotec’s Control Centers which is then used to troubleshoot nearly 90% of the issues remotely. Exotec currently has 3 control centers that provide 24/7/365 remote monitoring and maintenance.
Centralized Management and improved visibility - The software also feeds usage data into pre-configured customizable dashboards for immediate visibility into a warehouse management system (WMS,) providing single-pane visibility over warehouse automation equipment activity.
