Litum's Forklift Safety Solution, recognized with the "2022 Product of the Year" award from IoT Evolution World, integrates Real-Time Location Systems (RTLS) and ultra-wideband (UWB) technology to enhance safety in industrial environments. The core functionality of the solution lies in its ability to provide accurate, real-time location data of forklifts and pedestrians and providing audiovisual and tactile alerts when forklifts come in dangerous proximity to other pedestrians or forklifts, thereby reducing the risk of collisions. It is a practical and efficient safety tool, designed to improve visibility and awareness in areas with heavy forklift traffic and limited line of sight.
In 2023, we introduced a notable innovation allowing radiofrequency signals of our system to pass through the human body, ensuring alerts are effective even when a pedestrian with a badge is approached from behind by a forklift. Following this, we expanded the solution to the aftermarket in partnership with Hyster-Yale, integrating it into the Hyster-Yale Group's UNISOURCE™ Parts and Accessories program, thus extending its reach to over a million additional forklifts and enhancing safety in a wider range of industrial environments.
