Kirkland, Wash. – February 13, 2024 —
Acumatica, an industry-leading business solutions provider, will showcase the latest feature enhancements for manufacturers and distributors at the
MODEX 2024 event in Atlanta, Ga. The features, recently announced in the company’s
2023 R2 product update, enable the cloud ERP provider to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of direct-to-consumer (DTC) supply chain processes. Additionally, Acumatica recently hosted Summit 2024, where they shared further enhancements to these features which will be generally available with the 2024 R1 product update in March.
DTC sales require flexible stock allocation, consumer payments and seamless integration with popular online storefronts and marketplaces. Acumatica has made important strides recently to deliver on those needs and bolster DTC supply chain operations for enhanced customer outcomes.
One such update is the new
Manage Sales Allocations screen, which streamlines mass stock allocation and deallocation for distributors, retailers and commerce merchants. The feature fulfills customer requests for increased flexibility and control over sales allocations within Acumatica and empowers users with greater efficiency and agility to respond to shifting market dynamics.
“Customer input has been instrumental in shaping our product development initiatives. The Manage Sales Allocations screen is a great example of a product enhancement that benefited directly from what our customers want and need from technology,” said Debbie Baldwin, director of product management, manufacturing, at Acumatica. “We believe that by actively listening to our customers and incorporating their insights, we can deliver superior solutions that exceed their expectations."
The cloud ERP provider recently released Acumatica Payments to help address the need for simplified consumer payments. The integrated payment processing solution allows businesses to enhance cash flow and streamline payment processes by providing credit card and ACH processing with improved reconciliation, mobile portal payments, click-to-pay and gift cards.
There are various ways Acumatica helps companies tap into the potential growth opportunities of e-commerce through integration with online storefronts. One example is
Acumatica’s connection to Amazon’s Seller Central marketplace, supporting FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon) and MFN (Merchant-Fulfilled Network) delivery models. Another example is Acumatica’s integration with Shopify’s B2B commerce capabilities, which addresses a growing requirement for a single tool to manage omnichannel sales experiences.
“We’re not just showcasing technological advancements at MODEX 2024; we’re reinforcing our commitment to revolutionizing the landscape of DTC supply chains and shaping the future of cloud-based business management solutions,” said Baldwin.
